| Nympsfield sits high above the little town of Nailsworth in Gloucestershire in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it is here that the Thistledown Environmental Centre is beginning to be developed. |

From the M5 south of Gloucestershire J13
- Take A419 towards Stonehouse
- 1 mile to roundabout, take 3rd turning to Eastington
- 2 miles to mini-roundabout, 1st turning left towards Frocester
- Through Frocester to the top of Frocester Hill.
- At the crossroads go straight over and turn left after 300 yards towards Nympsfield.
- After 500 yards, at the staggered junction, cross straight over into Tinkley Lane, signposted towards Nailsworth
- After 1 mile turn left at the Thistledown sign
- If you reach the wind turbine you are 300 yards too far!
From the M4 south of Swindon J18
- Take the A46 north towards Stroud for approx 10 miles
- At the junction with the A4135 (Tetbury / Dursley) turn towards Dursley through village of Kingscote
- Half a mile out of the village turn right onto the Stroud road
- After 2 miles turn right onto the Stroud / Nailsworth road (B4058)
- After 1 mile bear left to Nympsfield
- After 2.5 miles turn right to Nympsfield
- After 500 yards you will come to crossroads and go straight over, signposted towards Nailsworth
- After 1 mile turn left at the Thistledown sign
- If you reach the wind turbine you are 300 yards too far.
